My Dahlia Farm Visit:
I spent an unforgettable afternoon at Cher’s Garden, a dahlia farm in Madison, WI. Surrounded by blooms ranging from tiny 1.5-inch blossoms to massive 16-inch flowers, I was mesmerized by their size, color, and beauty. It made me feel giddy—like a young girl lying in a field of dandelions. I purchased a few flowers that day, and although I was just starting a weekend getaway, I wished I could have taken a whole bouquet home. Dahlias have quickly become one of my favorite flowers to both admire on my counter and paint on my canvas.
